The Weekend In Review

Made chocolate croissants and a mushroom, goat cheese scramble for a friend whom I wanted to comfort. 

Called my grandmother.

Played gin rummy with Harriet and Peter on a train trip to and from San Juan Capistrano. 

Had my favorite fruit focaccia and a latte from Little Dom's Deli.

Spent my bonus weekend day off reading a Victorian novel for grad school and seeing a sappy movie.

Ended the weekend listening to Claudio Monteverdi by candlelight.

Taking the time to notice the simlpe things is so vital to life. I love to lay in our hammock with my husband and dog, watching the lightening bugs and listening to the crickets.
